Consumers should avoid eating‌ a specific ​Edeka ice cream bar due to teh potential ‌presence of glass fragments, the retailer announced today.

Edeka is voluntarily recalling its “Gut & Günstig Crunchy Peanut Ice Cream” bars, packaged in sets of six 53-milliliter units. The recall affects products ⁤with a best-before date‌ of May 23, 2027. The‌ company initiated the recall after determining that ⁢glass pieces may ‌be contained ⁣within individual bars, posing a health risk to consumers.

Edeka Recalls Peanut Ice Cream Bars – potential Glass Shards

Edeka advises customers ⁣not to ⁢consume the recalled ‍ice cream bars. The ‍product was primarily sold at⁣ Edeka and Marktkauf ⁣stores. though, locations ​in Saarland and‌ South Hesse,⁢ as well as the majority‍ of stores ‍in Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, are *not* affected by the recall.
