Two mega-stars in the global music recording industry, Eds Shiran and Elton John, have embarked on a festive season with the joint charity single “Merry Christmas”.
There is also a video for the song “Merry Christmas” featuring both performers – this clip combines the mood of the best and most popular Christmas videos and movies of all time. The song was written by Eds Shiran and Elton John, but was produced by Steve Max. During Christmas, all proceeds from the song will go to music charities, the Edward Shiran Suffolk Music Foundation and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
This is the first time that two popular musicians have collaborated in an audible format, but this is by no means the first time that both songs have become a sought-after Christmas creator: Edith Shiran’s song “Perfect” was the No. 1 British Island 2017 in 2017. John’s 1973 classic “Step Into Christmas” has become the most played radio song of all time.
