In the first weekend 10 million incentives were “burned”
The Ecobonus auto started with a bang: in one weekend, the one in early August, when the incentive entered into force, according to the data of the Ministry of Economic Development, almost 10 of the 50 million expected until December 31 were used by the Relaunch Decree to support the purchase of electric and hybrid cars, but also Euro 6 with traditional power supplies. The resources are not sufficient and, therefore, with the August Decree, expected this week, the government aims to refinance the incentives with another 500 million euros with the possibility of extending them also to the low-pollution commercial vehicle sector.
The incentive, which can be booked (until December 31st) on the online platform ecobonus.mise.gov.it, has the aim of relaunching a strategic industrial and commercial sector for Italy, which is very affected by the crisis linked to the coronavirus. Just think that in the first 5 months of the year registrations fell by more than 50%. The intent for even “green”. The government has confirmed its choice to focus on cars with lower environmental impact: battery electric and rechargeable hybrids, extending the incentives for Diesel, petrol and gas Euro 6 cars and with CO2 emissions of up to 110 g / km.
