‘Ezhimala Poonchola’ is back, Mohanlal shared the video

Mohanlal and Chitra are re-singing the new version of the song ‘Ezhimala Poonchola’ which is as popular as the movie before the film hits the theatres. Now Mohanlal himself has shared its video.
Echimala Poonchola is a song celebrated across generations. It is also a song that is sung by all Malayalees regardless of age. The song is likely to gain more acceptance when the film hits the theaters again.
Music composed by P. Bhaskaran with lyrics by SP Venkatesh. The old version of the song was also sung by Mohanlal and Chitra. Prathikam is all set for re-release after 27 years. The 4K version of the movie will hit the theaters on February 9. Malayalees are eager to see immortal stars like Thilakan, KPAli Lalita and Nedumudi Venu again in the theatre.
The makers have also organized a memorial evening for the departed stars before the release. The event titled ‘Ormallil Sphatikam’ will be held on February 5 at 6 pm at the Kochi Durbar Hall Grounds.
Crystal was released on March 30, 1995. The film was a family action drama in which Mohanlal played the role of Aduthoma. Thilakan and KPAC Lalitha played the roles of Mohanlal’s father and mother. Tilak’s character ‘Chacko Mash’ was highly appreciated.
