Eborn, the first public network of electric charging stations » PACA’s economic and political newsletter

Eborn, the first public network of electric charging stations, continues its deployment to support the accelerated development of electromobility with around a hundred new stations deployed by the end of 2022.

After the commissioning of 40 new terminals since the beginning of the year, around a hundred additional terminals will be deployed by the end of the year within the eborn network. In total, more than 2,300 charging points are made available to electromobilists in 11 departments of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions – charging being possible on a one-off or on subscription.
The eborn network, whose operation and development have been granted to the consortium made up of Easy Charge (subsidiary of VINCI Autoroutes and VINCI Energies) and the FMET (Fund for the Ecological Monetization of Transport, managed by DEMETER), is thus pursuing the accelerated deployment of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (IRVE), in order to support the development of eco-mobility in the territories of the South-East quarter of France.
Thanks to its network of partners, the eborn badge gives access to more than 100,000 charging points in Europe. Interoperable and accessible 24/7, the terminals of the eborn network are intended for all drivers of electric and rechargeable hybrid vehicles.

The first public network of electric charging stations in France, the eborn network continues to put charging points into service across the 11 departments in which it is present, to support electromobility enthusiasts. The objective: to offer the densest possible network, in order to allow any electric vehicle driver to always be within thirty kilometers of a public charging point, but also to reinforce the areas where the terminals are very intensively used. .

Since the beginning of the year, 40 new terminals have been put into service, according to the following breakdown:

– Allier: 2 terminals, at Saint Pourçain sur Sioule and Vichy;
– Alpes de Haute Provence: 4 terminals, in Forcalquier, Uvernet-Fours, Gréoux les Bains and Manosque;
– Isère: 9 terminals, in Bourgoin-Jallieu (2), Villefontaine, Tignieu-Jamayzieu, le Versoud, in Deux Alpes, in Huez (2) and in Montbonnot;
– Haute Loire: 2 terminals, in Saint-Julien de Chapteuil and in Saugues
– Savoie: 2 terminals, in Grésy-sur-Aix and Barby
– Haute Savoie: 8 terminals, in Annecy (5), Bon-en-Chablais, and Evian les-Bains (2);
– Var: 13 terminals, in Brenon, Hyères (4), Le Pradet, La Garde, Six-Fours-les-Plages, Carqueiranne (2) and Toulon (3).

A hundred new terminals will complete the offer by the end of the year, bringing to 2,300 the number of charging points operated by eborn available throughout the territory.
Interoperable and accessible 24/7, the terminals of the eborn network are intended for all drivers of electric and rechargeable hybrid vehicles. Particularly attractive pricing (27 c€/kWh, or even less with a monthly subscription formula), as well as specific services accessible from the application, are offered to eborn subscribers.
The eborn network is the largest public charging network in France, both in terms of territorial coverage and in terms of the number of charging points open to the public. Thanks to its network of partners, the eborn badge also gives access to more than 100,000 charging points in Europe.
