Last week saw the official launch of the new M2 model of Macbook Air and although most users seem to be happy with their purchase, there are some complaints.
For example, the midnight colored model has been found to get scratches or scuff marks easily, especially around the ports.
There have been similar complaints about previous Apple gadgets, including the iPhone 5 and the carbon black model of the iPhone 7. In those cases, there was talk of “scuffgate” and some users demanded their money back.
If you are hypersensitive to scratches and scratch marks, it may be best to choose the silver-colored model of Macbook Air, then any scratches are not as clearly visible.
