Shock clearly felt in Italy

As mentioned, this time the epicenter was at sea and according to the Ingv, the earthquake was located 41 km N of Ancona (100861 inhabitants), 46 km E of Fano (60888 inhabitants), 52 km E of Pesaro (94582 inhabitants), 79 km E of Rimini (147750 inhabitants). The hypocenter was set at about 35 km deep, many reports but no damage.

Double shock in Calabria a little while ago

Afterwards, two earthquake shocks were also recorded in Calabria, albeit of much lower M. The first M 2.0 and the other M 2.3. The epicenter was identified along the Ionian coast of Catanzaro. According to the engineer, the earthquake had an epicenter located 19 km E of Catanzaro (90612 inhabitants), 37 km SW of Crotone (62178 inhabitants), 44 km E of Lamezia Terme (70714 inhabitants), 68 km to SE of Cosenza (67546 inhabitants).

Shock felt in the Mediterranean

The aftershocks are also continuing in the Mediterranean, particularly in Greece where an earthquake well above the fourth degree rocked the Dodecanese in the last night. In the past few hours, a decidedly weaker shock, M 3.0, has affected the south-eastern sector of Greece again, with a hypocenter set at around 10 km. According to the EMSC, the earthquake had an epicenter located 77 km SE of Kárpathos, 138 km S of Ródos, 226 km S of Muğla.
