An earthquake was felt at 00:13 of this night in Southern Italy: according to official data provided by INGV, the shock was magnitude 3.5 and occurred a 42.4km depth with epicenter in Basilicata, between Anzi and Trivigno, in the Province of Potenza. The quake was distinctly felt throughout Basilicata, Puglia, Campania and Calabria, up to Naples and Cosenza, as well as recorded by seismographs even in Rome and the Balkans. The seismic waves extended to such a great distance due to the depth of the quake, which in any case attenuated its intensity. Fortunately, no damage occurred.
