Early 2022, Dengue Fever Cases in Pamekasan Reach 45 People

Pamekasan | Sigap88 – Cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) have occurred again in Pamekasan Regency, Madura, East Java, until today in 2022 there have been 45 dengue fever sufferers spread across 13 sub-districts throughout Pamekasan Regency.

This dengue fever, said Dayat, is indeed an annual disease that usually occurs during the rainy season, therefore it needs attention from the public, during the rainy season to protect the environment from the breeding of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes.

“In the rainy season like this, dengue fever is often caused by the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito,” said Dayat.

Therefore, it is necessary to be responsive from residents to always protect the environment so that there is no breeding of dengue mosquitoes.

By implementing 3M, draining water reservoirs, closing water reservoirs and burying items that can hold water.

“We provide education to the public about PSN (Mosquito Nest Eradication) with the application of 3M,” he said

Later, said Dayat, if there are criteria that must be fogging, the health department or health center will do fogging.

“Later on, we will do fogging in places where fogging is mandatory,” he said.
