Dyson shares specifications for Zone headphones with air purifying nozzle – Picture and sound – New

Dyson has shared the specifications of the Zone headphones with an air purifying nozzle. The headset has a maximum battery life of 4 hours when the air purification module is used. The Dyson Zone is not yet available in Europe.

The anc system of earlier this year, Dyson revealed the Zone it can reduce ambient noise in a city by up to 38dB, according to the brand. The headphones have a sound range of 8Hz to 21kHz, although noise reduction only works for frequencies between 20Hz and 20kHz. Depending on conditions, the headphones are said to last up to 50 hours; this is true when only headphones are being used for audio purposes without active noise cancellation or a calling connection. The zone must be able to be fully charged within 3 hours. When using the removable air purification module and listening to audio, the battery life is approximately 4 hours.

It also contains “potassium enriched carbon filters” which would filter acid gases from the air. Nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide, among others, are associated with the pollution of the stand, which would contrast with the air filter. Dyson does not say what percentage of the declared gases are filtered out of the air by the carbon filters.

The Dyson Zone will be available in China from January 2023 and will be released in March of the same year in the US, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. It is unclear whether the headphone-air purifier hybrid will also be released in Europe. Additionally, no recommended pricing for the product or any replaceable filters have yet been announced.
