Dutch people die in horror crash German highway | Inland

That reports the Gelderlander. The car hit the road due to unknown causes. Around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning, the emergency services received a report about a person trapped in a burning vehicle. The car was on its side next to the highway. On photo’s in the German newspaper Bild, among others, you can see that there is not much left of the vehicle.

After the recovery of the first victim, the fire brigade and police went to look for other occupants to be sure. Thermal cameras and a helicopter were used for this. But the second body was not discovered until after the vehicle was recovered. The victim was under the car wreck.

The A57 runs from Cologne via Düsseldorf to the Dutch border. The car crashed near Sonsbeck, Germany.
