Dutch-Belgian drug network rolled up | NOS

In recent days, Dutch and Belgian police officers have rolled up a courier service that transported heroin and cocaine from Maastricht to Ostend.

1Limburg writes that three Dutch people were arrested in Maastricht. It concerns two suspects who would have organized the transports and a courier. Belgian justice asks the Netherlands to surrender the three suspects.

Nineteen suspects have been arrested in Belgium, eleven of whom have been brought to trial.

The suspects in Maastricht have seized 11 kilos of heroin and more than 60,000 euros in cash.

The Belgian criminal police received signals about the drug network last year. The parties involved supplied more than two hundred customers.
