Due to coronavirus, the FACR has amended the competition rules for lower competitions

The amended competition rules also address issues of the order of competitions in the event of early termination of the year, including procedures and relegations. It also deals with the conditions for postponing matches or declarations of infectivity, which club members sign before the first match and then always after the end of covid-19 treatment or after the end of quarantine.

“It is clear that the global fight against covid-19 is unfortunately not a thing of the past and all stakeholders in amateur competitions must know which manual to follow in this direction,” said FACR Chairman Marek Malik in a press release.

Two million for coronavirus testing before each league match. A financial blow, but the clubs agreed

“Our priority always remains the health of players and implementation teams, but at the same time we would like to complete competitions under the auspices of the FACR.

Under the new rules, clubs must, among other things, be required to test for coronavirus before cup matches with teams from the first and second leagues. If they do not meet the condition, they must inform the competition management two days before the match and they will lose the match by default, but they will avoid the fine.

Changes in the disciplinary rules also address the situation if players refuse to finish or join a match. If the conditions for postponing the match are not met, such as the footballers’ health concerns, the match will be counted, but the club will not be fined. The number of exclusions for exclusion from the competition has increased to six due to the new rule.

League orders got a veil! The master can also determine the point coefficient

“Today it is clearer than the sun that in the beginning it is not possible to prevent all situations that may occur. However, our task is to capture such situations as much as possible,” said Jan Pauly, Secretary General of the FACR. “On the other hand, solidarity is also needed on the part of our members to each other, as well as to the rules themselves,” he added.

“Our common goal at the moment must be to try to finish competitions, not to circumvent the rules. We are in contact with other sports as well, because the rules should, at least in our opinion, differ as little as possible,” Pauly concluded.
