Duda winner of the first round of the presidential election in Poland Abroad

For his challenger to the liberal-conservative coalition, Mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski, 30.5 percent of the emperors voted.

Since none of the candidates achieved an absolute majority, Duda and Trzaskowski will have to compete in a second round on July 12.

In the first round of voting, the turnout was 64.5 percent. This is one of the highest in elections in recent years, according to the chairman of the election committee. This time, voters were also able to vote in writing because of the corona crisis.
