Drug Transactions Revealed Rp 120 Trillion Makes Criminal Investigation Move

Jakarta

Information on drug transactions reaching Rp 120 trillion was revealed. The Police Criminal Investigation Unit is now moving.

The head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPAT) Dian Ediana Rae conveyed the information regarding the Rp 120 trillion drug transaction in a meeting with Commission III of the DPR, last Wednesday last week.

In the meeting, the head of PPATK emphasized that the drug issue received great attention from his side. Dian then explained a number of findings that had been announced.

“We have announced several findings. As far as I remember there are Rp. 1.7 trillion, Rp. 3.6 trillion, there are Rp. 6.7 trillion, some are Rp. 12 trillion. , this figure even exceeds the figure of Rp 120 trillion in fact,” said Dian as quoted from YouTube, Tuesday (5/10/2021).

PPATK’s findings related to drugs are said to be an extremely worrying condition. The drug issue is said to require cross-border handling. Dian then gave an example of the Philippine-style drug eradication which is thought to have an impact on Indonesia as well.

“It is estimated that the handling carried out by the Philippines, for example, with violence, by carrying out illegal killings of drug users and perpetrators also has an impact on us,” he said.

“We are neighbors. According to estimates, this is indeed a lot of things that are deflected on us because Indonesia’s territorial boundaries are very wide. They enter not through official ports but also through unofficial ports,” added Dian.
