Drowning death of 3-year-old boy investigated in Homestead, Florida

The Miami-Dade Police sent rescue teams that included divers, given the proximity of the channel to the area. Relatives of the minor, neighbors and agents with trained dogs participated in the search, who tried to find him for an hour until the divers found his body inside the canal.

A total of seven infants and two adults were traveling in the vehicle, and all suffered injuries that required hospitalization. The deceased child was identified as Ronald Walker, a resident of Opa-locka.
