Drone films a royal bicycle ride through the water

King Philippe, Queen Mathilde and their four children visited Limburg yesterday. The royal family took a bike ride there, and stopped in Bokrijk and at Holsteenbron campsite in Zonhoven. A drone filmed their passage at the famous Cycling through the Water.

With the trip, the royal couple wants to support the tourism sector in Belgium. That is why they visit one of the most emblematic tourist attractions of our country, it is said.

The royal couple started the tour at the open-air museum of Bokrijk, where they stopped at the Bruegel exhibition. From there they cycled through the cycle route network through the water of the ponds of the Wijers nature reserve, where they stopped to admire nature.

The king, queen and their family took a break at Camping Holsteenbron on the provincial domain of Bokrijk, where they had a chat with the manager and a few second-stayers.
