Drinking too much water makes it easy to sweat?

According to Professor Mark Whiteley, consultant vascular surgeon at The Whiteley Clinic, London Huffingtonpost said, drinking too much water can be bad for health.

This condition is known in medical terms as hyponatremia. Electrolyte disturbances in the body occur when there is too much water content.

This condition causes sodium, which acts as a controller of water levels in the body, regulates the muscle nervous system, and maintains blood pressure, so it dissolves in the blood.

In this regard, Dr. Margaret McCartney and Whiteley recommend drinking water only when thirsty.

Well, drinking too much water can actually lead to other effects, namely excessive sweating or in medical terms as hyperhidrosis.

Whitley explained, drinking more than two liters of water per day is not medically justified. Because it will burden the work of the kidneys.

“The kidneys have to work extra hard to get rid of this fluid load. And then the water will come out excessively for those with hyperhidrosis,” he explains.

According to Whiteley, actually hyperhidrosis does not cause serious health. However, this disorder can cause discomfort to a person and discomfort often has a negative impact on quality of life.

One of the things that makes you uncomfortable is excessive sweating that appears in the armpit area. To overcome this, there is a way really.

To keep you comfortable through the day, use an antiperspirant that contains compounds to stop or reduce sweating. Use an antiperspirant twice a day, in the morning and at night before bed.
