ANARIKSA — SpaceX’s Dragon capsule will lift off from the International Space Station (ISS) tonight, Sunday, January 23, 2022, Indonesian time. Separation of the cargo capsule will begin at around 10:40 p.m. EST or 10:40 a.m. EST for the return journey to Earth.

Tonight’s trip was a rescheduling of the Dragon capsule’s return. Originally, the capsule, which will carry thousands of kilograms of scientific research results on the space station, started its journey on Saturday, January 22, at night WIB. However, the trip had to be postponed.

SpaceX said the delay was due to bad weather at the Dragon capsule’s landing site, namely the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida, throughout Sunday (dragon launches into the sea). The delay will only be carried out one day until tonight or this morning in the Eastern Standard Time area.

For those of you who want to see firsthand how Elon Musk’s company Dragon capsule took off, NASA announced a live broadcast. Live on (click) NASA TV or NASA starting at 22.15 WIB.

“Coverage of the dismantling of the SpaceX CRS-24 Cargo Ship from the International Space Station (Dismantling scheduled for 10.40 EST),” wrote NASA’s official website.

If according to schedule, the Dragon capsule will splash into the sea on Monday night or Tuesday morning. However, it will not be broadcast live.
