The plenary meeting of the DPR RI held today also included the agenda for the approval of the naturalization of football players Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama. Shayne Pattynama has been approved by the DPR to be legalized as an Indonesian citizen.
The meeting was held in the Plenary Assembly Hall of Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday (17/11/2022). The meeting was chaired by the Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament, Puan Maharani.
“In this regard, we have requested approval at today’s plenary meeting, if the application for consideration of the citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia is in the name of Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama acceptable?” asked Mrs.
“Okay,” said the DPR member.
DPR RI Commission III previously approved the naturalization of soccer player Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama to become an Indonesian citizen. Shayne’s naturalization process then proceeded according to the law.
The agreement was reached during the meeting of the DPR III Commission with Indonesian Menpora Zainudin Amali, PSSI, and Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights Edward Omar Sharif at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (9 /11). The meeting was chaired by the Vice-President of Commission III Adies Kadir.
Before Commission III of the DPR, Shayne’s application for naturalization was also discussed in Commission X of the DPR. The Sports Commission of the DPR also approved the naturalization Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama.
