JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman responded to the request of DPR member Hilary Brigitta Lasut who requested an aide from the Indonesian Army.
Firmly, the former Pangdam Jaya stated that he would not fulfill the request of the member of Commission I of the DPR RI.
“I will not fulfill it,” said Dudung firmly through a short message on Friday (12/3/2021), as quoted from Kompas.com.
As is known, Hillary admitted that she had previously sent a letter to General Dudung Abdurachman asking for aide or security assistance from the TNI.
“It’s true, I wrote to the Army Chief of Staff to request security assistance in accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 85 of 2014,” Hillary wrote on her Instagram account, @hillarybrigitta.
Hillary explained that the reason she chose security assistance from the TNI was because physically and mentally, TNI soldiers were always ready, even in an emergency.
In addition, the youngest member of the DPR RI said that he had troubled the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo too many times regarding various cases in his constituency.
Therefore, in the future Hillary will feel more comfortable if she asks the TNI for security assistance.
