Dover increases the dividend for the 65th consecutive year


The New York company Dover Corp. (ISIN: US2600031080, NYSE: DOV) will pay its shareholders a quarterly dividend of $ 0.495. Payment will be made on September 15, 2020 (Record day: August 31, 2020). The group thus increases the dividend by 1 percent or 0.5 US cents. $ 0.49 was paid in the previous quarter. The increase is equivalent to an annual payout of $ 1.98.

The current dividend yield at the stock exchange price of $ 105.24 (as of August 6, 2020) is 1.88 percent. Dover is increasing its payout for the 65th year in a row.

Dover Corporation is a manufacturer of industrial products and employs over 23,000 people. In the second quarter (June 30) of fiscal 2020, the company had sales of $ 1.5 billion compared to $ 1.81 billion in the previous year, as announced on July 22, 2020. Adjusted earnings were $ 164 million (previous year: $ 229 million).

Since the beginning of 2020, the share on Wall Street has been on the current price basis at 8.69 percent in the red. The market capitalization is currently $ 15.2 billion (as of August 6, 2020).
