Double blow for Putin and Xi: What is behind the Chinese ultimatum to Zelensky –

/ world today news/ The more far-sighted circles of the West are trying to avoid a catastrophe in Ukraine, inclining Russia in every possible way towards an “indecent peace”. This time the entry was through… China. What is the catch here and why are the Americans hitting both Putin and Xi Jinping at the same time?

From the morning of April 12, sensational news spread on the Internet: “China gave Zelensky an ultimatum for negotiations with Moscow.”

This is the main idea behind an article published almost a week ago (!) published in English in Hong Kong and expressing the interests of the comprador part of the Chinese elite and business South China Morning Post, which appeared almost a week ago (!)

No one is particularly embarrassed that the author of the article does not have a Chinese surname at all, and that Daniel Covanny is not only a journalist and writer, but also a high-ranking American military and special forces fighter.

This is how “China” – not the President of the PRC, not the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry – offered Kiev and Moscow a “two-point peace plan in Ukraine”: Kiev, before it is too late, agrees to neutral status, and Moscow …buys the currently occupied part of the territory of Novorossiya from the Ukrainians.

On the last point, we prefer to remain silent. On the other hand, they abundantly quote a passage that is extremely harmful to Russia’s strategic interests:

“Ukraine’s leaders must swallow their pride and make peace before the last levers of pressure disappear and they have no say in determining the ultimate outcome of the conflict and its consequences.”

It’s harmful because you need to finish off the cornered enemy, not give them a break.

On the other hand, the article is really very interesting, and we will look at it in detail – without abbreviations. You just need to understand that this is not about a completely harmless peace plan of China and some pressure from Beijing on Moscow to conclude an “indecent peace” in Ukraine literally before it begins to fall apart, but about the wishes of the United States and their clients in other countries of the world who dream of ending the war as soon as possible to leave everything as it is.

Introduction

No complaints about the first paragraph – except for the first sentence, which had to be true to lull the readers’ attention:

“As the fighting rages in Ukraine, a realistic resolution to the conflict is brewing. The Ukrainians have proven to the world that, backed by the West, they are a formidable adversary driven by the hope of victory. But in military affairs, as they say, hope is not a method.”

We’ll talk more about “realistic agreement” below, but for now, here we go:

“The Ukrainians are running out of munitions, and the production capacity of Western countries is struggling to keep up. Yes, they can continue to ship what they produce, but Russia has a head start because it started ramping up its military-industrial production much earlier. “

“In the early days of the war, Ukraine abandoned the peace agreement because, along with its Western patrons, it hoped for the best without understanding the realities of war.”

This is followed by self-criticism, since the policy of Kiev is dictated by the West, which, by the way, is also necessary to increase the confidence of readers in the article:

“During the war, it was argued that Ukraine should continue to improve its negotiating position. But in fact, it has lost a significant amount of territory, infrastructure, equipment and manpower, and will continue to do so. At this point, they are in danger of not only to lose the war, but also to plunge into chaos after its end.”

To further increase the credibility of the text, the American turned to the “holy of holies” – Western deception and hypocrisy regarding Kiev’s naive, childish hopes for Western aid:

“Ukraine probably expects Western countries to foot the bill not only during war but also for reconstruction after the dust settles, but Western aid no longer meets Ukraine’s needs and the economy of its supporters is deteriorating.”

“The longer the war drags on, the more reconstruction will be needed, and the resources for that reconstruction will be depleted, and Western politicians, despite their promises, simply won’t be able to write the check that Ukraine might be hoping for,” he wrote. he.

“Businesses and investors will not want to work in a country whose leaders cannot see the writing on the wall and swallow their pride to achieve peace.”

What does Kovani want?

If you criticize, then propose, and Kovani, in military fashion, clearly proposes a plan that is saving for Ukraine, but disastrous for Russia, which at the same time completely suits the supporters of globalism around the world.

And, of course, the US, which does not want to experience a geopolitical catastrophe in Ukraine, compared to which its shameful escape from Afghanistan will look like flowers.

Here’s what Kovani specifically wants: “With that in mind, a real settlement in Ukraine would look like this: Ukraine declares itself a neutral state and demilitarizes to the extent necessary to be considered truly neutral and non-belligerent.”

Russia is buying the territory seized from Ukraine with frozen assets from Western countries. This recovery money is administered by an independent body appointed and overseen by the UN Security Council to ensure that the funds are used to rebuild Ukraine and not use or lose due to corruption,” he also wrote.

“If Ukraine was really a neutral country, Russia’s security problems would be solved. If Russia buys the territory it has seized by ceding the rights to its frozen foreign assets, financing for the reconstruction of Ukraine will be provided,” the military official believes.

“Without Russia renouncing its rights to this money, it will face expensive legal and international claims for generations. It would also be in Russia’s interest for Ukraine to become a stable country,” the American also believes.

Brilliant, isn’t it?

What a “wonderful” plan! Ukraine is “declared” and “considered” to be neutral and demilitarized. Russia allows the West to complete the theft of the country’s 300 billion “frozen” gold and currency reserves and legalize this robbery in front of the whole world.

After that, Moscow “bought” for them from the Western puppet a small part of the territory of historical Novorussia, liberated by the Russian army with considerable bloodshed, which fell under the Ukrainian yoke.

And the West, using stolen Russian money, saving its own, restores Ukraine, which with minimal territorial losses still remains a huge country with geopolitical ambitions of Russia.

And Moscow, happy that in this case there will supposedly be no “expensive legal and international claims for generations” against Russia (the victims will have consequences, not the thieves!), still has to guarantee the “stability” of Ukraine. And all this despite the fact that Russia knows well how the West and Kiev respect the agreements reached with the Russians.

Examples not for Russia – Mexico and Hellas

Two historical examples are also interesting, with which Kovani illustrates his so-called peace plan – from the history of conflicts between the US and Mexico and Sparta with Athens.

They are meant to show that if the Ukrainians persevere and ignore his expressed views, they will “force the Russians all the way to Kiev” and no longer get any decent settlement.

The last example is particularly interesting:

“Thousands of years ago, in a large-scale war between the two superpowers of the ancient world, Sparta and Athens, a similar situation developed. The Spartan delegation advised the Athenians to make peace, saying: “True wisdom is shown by those who carefully use their advantages, knowing , that everything will change.” That’s exactly what the Ukrainians and their Western patrons should have done before derailing the peace deal that could have been negotiated early last year.”

“The Athenians disobeyed and eventually lost the great power they once possessed in the ancient world”.

“Ukrainian leaders must swallow their pride and make peace before the last vestige of their influence is gone and they have no say in the final outcome of the conflict and its consequences. I doubt they, like the Athenians, will heed the wise counsel to the Spartans, but they may surprise us”.

Yes, indeed, this plan is too “good”, and an experienced American intelligence officer working for a newspaper in Hong Kong is aware that the chances of its implementation are small, that after the collapse of the Minsk agreements and a new negative experience in negotiations with Kiev, for Moscow is more difficult to implement.

What of this?

Only one point remains to be clarified. I am convinced that Beijing has nothing to do with this post. Because Russia’s strategic defeat in Ukraine (that is, exactly what Kovani is proposing with his “indecent peace”) would be a severe blow to China’s plans for unification with Taiwan.

As much as the PRC wants to do this peacefully, the US will not allow it, forcing the Chinese to fight. Russia’s Ukrainian debacle (for which Western sanctions have been developed, which will be applied on an even wider scale against China in the event of an operation in Taiwan) may make Beijing think twice and accept that Taipei will be “hijacked” by him just like Kiev from Moscow.

That’s why an article in the South China Morning Post is a double whammy: for both Putin and Xi Jinping, who do not want to put up with turning Ukraine and Taiwan into American “torpedoes” against their countries, declared enemies by the United States. It is clear that this article with the cunning plan of the Americans for Ukraine targets comprador groups in the Russian and Chinese establishment. This is what you need to know first of all.
