Postponed because of the health crisis, the 2020 awards ceremony for the eleventh edition of the business creation competition
was finally able to take place on Friday 9 April, at the administrative city of Montluçon (Allier). This competition, which rewards entrepreneurs who settle in priority neighborhoods, has honored Dorian Thery and Elsa Labouret who are both in Ville-Gozet.

Dorian Thery, received the first prize endowed with 2,000 euros, for having created the company Thery Plomberie. After nine years as an employee, the 26-year-old Montluçonnais decided to take the plunge by setting up on his own on September 3, 2019. A choice he does not regret.

From caregiver to medical taxi driver
Winner of the second prize (worth 1,500 euros), Elsa Labouret created her taxi company, Taxi Elsa, on April 1, 2019. Nursing assistant at the CHU Gabriel-Montpied for six years, this native of Orleans had desire for independence and to be self-employed.

Elsa Labouret notes that the profession of taxi driver is gradually becoming more feminine. They are currently eleven independent without counting the employees of the ambulance company. In addition to the medical taxi, it offers traditional taxi and breakdown services.
