Seoul, South Korea – Doosan, a global industrial conglomerate, announced its second-quarter financial results today, revealing a notable increase in operating profit and revenue. The company’s performance was significantly bolstered by improvements in its own business operations and the robust earnings of doosan Enerbility.

This growth was especially driven by the electronic business group (BG), which benefited from increased sales of next-generation network materials, including copper clad laminates (CCLs) for artificial intelligence (AI) accelerators. The electronic BG reported that high-end products constituted 81% of its sales in the first half of the year, with expectations for continued growth in the latter half.

Doosan Bobcat, another subsidiary, reported second-quarter sales of 2.22 trillion won and an operating profit of 24.2 billion won. Sales decreased by 1.6% year-on-year, and operating profit fell by 14.8%, attributed to an economic slowdown in advanced markets and tariff uncertainties. despite these challenges, doosan Bobcat has seen its operating profit increase for three consecutive quarters as the fourth quarter of last year.
