Dontnod Entertainment has founded a new studio in Montreal. A new project is now being worked on there.
Dontnod Entertainment, known for “Life is Strange”, has opened a new studio in Montreal, Canada. “This international expansion brings Dontnod closer to the North American gaming community, which is where most of the studio’s audience comes from,” it says. “Thanks to the new North American offshoot, the studio will continue to grow and can create video games that are even more immersive, entertaining and innovative than before.”
Oskar Guilbert, CEO of Dontnod, said: “We are very excited to share our expansion plans with the public. The opening of the studio in Montreal will complement our talented team in Paris perfectly. Our goal is to create video games, that match our community’s expectations as much as possible. With this new international team, we’ll be able to come up with even more ambitious titles and continue to write wonderful stories for our players. ”
The foundation of the new studio goes hand in hand with a new project. In order to expand the studio, Dontnod will hire additional employees from Montreal’s talented developer community “and thereby make the corporate culture and consequently the content of his games even more diverse than before”.
