Donald Trump claims election fraud – Trump supporters demand money back

Donald Trump supporter and businessman Fredric Eshelman has sued the group True the Vote, which was created to expose election fraud in connection with the US presidential election. The group promised to sue seven tipping states.

Vague answers

Eshelman writes in his lawsuit that True the Vote has not kept its promise, and now demands to get back 2.5 million dollars – about 22 million kroner – which he donated to them, reports Bloomberg and The Guardian.

Eshelman claims that he repeatedly asked the group for updates, but that True the Vote must have met him with vague answers and empty promises.

Group responds

Founder Catherin Engelbrecht says they have dropped their plans to sue Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which were won by Joe Biden. She also states that their work is about something much bigger than just this one presidential election, and that it is time to repair the system for the sake of future elections.

President Trump has made a number of allegations of electoral fraud in connection with the 2020 presidential election, for which no evidence has been presented.
