Dominik Kubalik’s awareness: «I have to do more»

The goal scored in the first derby of the season seemed to have definitively unblocked Kubalik after his sensational return from the NHL. In the following four games, in fact, the Pilsen native scored three more, reaching seven. There, however, he ran aground. For five races, the world champion has no longer found the target. Just when Ambrì would have needed their sniper most, «Kuba» ended up in the same vortex that sucked in Luca Cereda’s entire team, beaten seven times in the last eight outings: «It’s obviously a very negative series, some things they didn’t work, but not everything we did should be thrown away. By returning to play our best hockey for 60 minutes, we will also find success again.” All the imported forwards ended up in the dock, together with Kubalik: «In every National League club foreigners are expected to make the difference with their goals, and in Ambrì it is no different.
