Four parliamentary parties at the 5% mark
Compared to the June data, STAN, which would support 6.5 percent of respondents, and the coalition CSSD also gained half a percentage point compared to the June data. 5.5 Socialists would vote for the Social Democrats. There are three other parties at the entrance to the lower house of parliament. The loss of half a percentage point was recorded by KDU-ČSL, for which four percent of respondents would vote in August. Although the party is within the scope of a statistical error, and therefore has a chance to fight its way into the Chamber of Deputies, sociologists from Kantar CZ point out that the People’s Party has long been below 5% rather than above it. “Therefore, we assume that she would not fight her way into the Chamber of Deputies at the moment,” they state to the address of KDU-ČSL.
The Tricolor, which would be supported by two percent of respondents, which is half a percentage point less than in the last poll, would also remain below the threshold required to enter the lower chamber.
