Domenica In, Romina Power remembers her sister Taryn. The embrace of Mara Venier

The last episode of Sunday In opened with a hug between Mara Venier e Romina Power, who recently lost his sister Taryn. “I don’t give a damn that we can’t hug each other, I hug you all the same,” began the host, who wanted to hug her friend in a very difficult moment.

Romina wanted to remember her sister with a tribute to her artistic skills, without ever forgetting her qualities and what made her truly special: “She didn’t follow fashions, she was impromptu, but very sweet.”

In this regard, Mara pointed out the contrast in which both Power sisters decided to live their lives: born and raised in the star system, daughters of Hollywood film actors Linda Christian e Tyrone Power, the sisters have always preferred a simple life, without frills, in the name of the most important values.

Romina, therefore, could not help but confirm with her friend Mara, adding:

She was a very good actress, only she had no ambition. For her, what mattered most was being a mother and raising children well, having a family and being quiet. She loved humble jobs more, graduated in her fifties and taught children that they had problems.

Indeed, Taryn has lived a life of spirituality. She married William Greendeer, her third husband of Native American origins. All his famous flirts were long gone, so much so that the relationships he had with Richard Chamberlain, with whom she found herself on the set of the film The Count of Monte Cristo, with Lucio Battisti, with the photographer Norman Seeff and with the rock musician Tony Fox Sales, they were just a sweet memory for Taryn.

He also had four children from these different relationships, but they are all very close. The last daughter was born in 1996 and her name is Stella Bianca Greendeer, a name inspired by the love that Taryn had for Italy, as the older sister herself explained to Sunday In.

Romina wanted to highlight her sister’s talent on television, who had a great love for theater. In particular, during the interview with Mara the film on the life of San Leopoldo was shown, in which Taryn had taken part: “This film shows how my actress sister is, and if only she had a little more ambition, she would now be very famous, “said Romina excited.

Al Bano’s ex-wife, remembering his sister’s death, added: “It should never happen that the younger one has to leave before the older one. It’s not fair, in my opinion we should all live at least up to eighty years ”. Words full of feeling these, which Romina managed to share, remembering her beautiful and talented sister.

The tribute ended with a big applause, which Mara Venier wanted to comment in this way:

This is the applause that all of Italy makes you because all of Italy loves you, I am the spokesperson.
Never feel alone, everyone loves you.

After touching hug between Mara and Romina, their longtime friend also joined the living room Loretta Goggi, that with a “My friends!” she made her studio debut, running to make her two dear life companions, as well as colleagues. In doing so, the three women gave a real moment of female complicity to the Italian public.
