Dogs to search for bodies, firefighters with a pump: The police continue to search the Louny region in the house of a missing woman

Police reappeared in Slavětín on Monday after years, and the search of the house and its surroundings also continues on Tuesday.

Police Ridlová spokeswoman Kateřina Rendlová told Novinky that no one was detained in the case, and therefore not charged, but still no further details can be given.

According to information from the News, police dog handlers arrived from the place on Tuesday with dogs trained to search for human remains. Firefighters, who were seen with the pump, also intervened there on Monday. The police did not specify exactly what they had at work in the house.

The search is related to local resident Jana Paurová, who disappeared in early February 2013 after receiving a call from the police to come to testify against her husband, who was investigated by the police for her abuse.

The Louny social worker filed a criminal complaint for abuse. The subsequent court first acquitted the man of the lack of evidence, but eventually the man received a suspended sentence after appeals and other court proceedings.

According to the verdict, Paur abused the woman from the beginning of 2012 until she disappeared. According to the court, Paur repeatedly verbally insulted the woman and brutally physically attacked him even in the presence of children.

On the one hand, a number of witnesses appeared in court, confirming that the woman often had bruises on her body, but many other witnesses stated that she could cause them herself because she often and excessively drank alcohol.

The police did not say whether the man with the children still lived in the house.
