In Simferopol, dogs on the runway interfered with a passenger Airbus from Moscow on its first attempt to land. On Friday, June 18, reports Interfax citing a source in airport services.
“The landing dispatcher on Friday morning received a report from ground services about several animals on the runway, preliminary – about stray dogs. He relayed the information to the commander of the Airbus 320, which was landing. It was decided to go around,” the source said.
The plane landed safely after the specialists of the aerodrome services managed to drive two dogs from the runway.
There were 166 passengers and 6 crew members on board.
