3- Perforation of the maxillary sinus
Extraction of the upper molars is associated with the risk of perforation of the maxillary sinus, but it is not a cause for concern, as the doctor can fix it easily.

Advice after tooth extraction
Marwan pointed out that there are instructions the patient must follow after a molar extraction, namely:
– Stop smoking, because it hinders the healing process of the wound resulting from tooth extraction.
Brush your teeth gently.
– Take the medicines prescribed by your doctor on time, without prejudice to the doses.
Do not use mouthwash until 24 hours after tooth extraction.
– Avoid chewing food after tooth extraction and stick with liquids.
Avoid drinking hot or cold liquids.
