Recently, a large number of real game videos and “GTA6” source code have been leaked in development, causing an uproar among gamers and game developers.
As many games were delayed or even redone after the leak, many gamers are also concerned that “GTA6” will be redone for this reason.
Now, Rockstar has finally released a reply message, reassuring players.
In the announcement, Rockstar said it suffered a recent intrusion into the network, in which hackers illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information, including the early “GTA6” development films.
However, the incident will not cause any disruption to Rockstar Games’ online services, nor will it have a long-term impact on the projects it is developing.
Additionally, Rockstar also stated that development of “GTA6” will continue as planned and that new development progress will soon be shared and, when the game is ready, an official introduction will be presented to players.
