Doe Maar cancels farewell tour due to illness Henny Vrienten

Doe Maar’s farewell tour has been cancelled. Concert organizer Mojo late his website know that the decision was made because singer and bassist Henny Vrienten (73) is ill. Mojo does not make any announcements about the nature of Van Vrienten’s disease. Mojo also reports that the concerts will not be made up.

“Henny and the other Doe Maar members, as well as the crew and of course all the fans, were looking forward to the farewell tour,” said a short statement. “We all regret that the tour cannot take place and wish Henny a speedy recovery and strength.”

All ticket buyers will be informed by e-mail and will automatically receive a refund of their purchase amount of the tickets. The management of Vrienten urges “to respect the privacy of Henny and his family”.
