Dodgers alignment in 2020 with the incorporation of Mookie Betts | AL BAT

If the Dodgers already had a good team in recent years, for this next 2020 season the ninth Californian looks more powerful with the arrival of the four-time All-Star gardener, Mookie Betts.

It is already a fact that Betts will land on the West Coast of California, Red Sox and Dodgers finally reached an agreement for the 2018 MVP player to wear white and blue. Although the Los Angeles organization had to part with several important pieces, Mookie’s arrival further catapulted the club’s aspirations to win the long-awaited World Series.

This would be the lineup in 2020 of Dave Roberts, manager of the Dodgers:

1.- Mookie Betts. RF

2.- Cody Bellinger. CF

3.- Justin Turner. 3B

4.- Max Muncy. 1 B

5.- Chris Taylor. Lf

6.- Corey Seager. H.H

7.- Will Smith. C

8.- Gavin Lux. 2B

It should be noted that on the bench two players would be available who can easily be holders in any of the other 29 remaining MLB teams. Chris Taylor could be replaced by veteran A.J. Pollock, while in the middle the Puerto Rican Kiké Hernández can enter the quite place instead of the young Gavin Lux.

More than three decades have passed since this franchise last lifted the Autumn Classic champion trophy, after three consecutive years threatening to break that drought, apparently this year they will go all or nothing, especially because Mookie Betts for the moment will only come with a single-season contract, the next one will become a free agent and nothing guarantees the Dodgers that the stellar patrolman continues wearing his uniform.
