Young surgeons from Pleven removed a 20-kilogram tumor from a woman. 41-year-old Kirilka Kirilova from the town of Dolna Oryahovitsa is overweight. It weighs 250 kg. In recent months, the woman could not get out of bed, NOVA reports.
“Her personal doctor called us. He was worried about her painful malignancy. She sought medical help, but due to the specifics her colleagues were not able to respond “, said the surgeon Dimitar Georgiev.
The woman was taken out of her home with the help of firefighters. She was taken to the Pleven Cardiology Hospital, as the nearby Veliko Tarnovo medical establishments refused to admit her due to her serious condition. Kirilka had to be operated on urgently.
The operation was completed successfully and a few days later the woman was on her feet. Kirilka promises to start a new life and train.
