Ncuti gatwa Hints at Potential Doctor Who Return: “Never Say Never”
Ncuti Gatwa, who recently concluded his tenure as teh fifteenth doctor in the latest season of Doctor Who, has left the door open for a potential return to the iconic role.While his time on the show has officially ended, Gatwa responded to questions about future appearances with a classic “Never say never,” echoing the sentiments of many Doctors before him.
Gatwa made these remarks during an appearance on The One Show to promote his new West End play, “Born with Teeth.” The play, in which Gatwa portrays Christopher Marlowe, explores the complex relationship between the playwright adn William Shakespeare, highlighting themes of “jealousy” and “tension” between the two artists.
Although Gatwa did not face off against classic Doctor Who villains like the Daleks or Cybermen in a scene with his own Doctor, the possibility of such encounters in future returns remains open. Doctor Who is currently available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
