As you know, Doctor Strange 2 explore the multiverse and be connected to the two Disney + series Loki and WandaVision. Information that leads necessarily to wonder if Vision will be present in the second part of Doctor Strange, now that we know that Wanda Maximoff is scheduled for casting. In the series, their two twins will be integrated into the plot. However, Marvel may decide to wait for the release of WandaVision to introduce Vision. We may see the start of his arrival in the film with Benedict Cumberbatch. The dear and tender of Scarlet Witch is far from being the only dead character of the MCU who can be introduced in Doctor Strange 2. Thanks to the multiverse and alternative realities, all these missing characters could come and say hello to Stephen Strange!
One of the most awaited returns would be that of Iron Man! The two men didn’t know each other much, but Stephen Strange knew about the tragic fate of Tony Stark. On the set ofAvengers: Infinity War, a scene filming the sorcerer in the Iron Man costume was finally cut during the editing. We could therefore exploit it for Doctor Strange 2 or use the alternative realities to organize a meeting between the two characters of the MCU. Likewise, Stephen Strange can use time travel to find a young Captain America, married to Peggy. If they don’t know each other well, it would be funny and surprising to see these two protagonists interacting together on the screen.
As we know, Wanda will be present in Doctor Strange 2, we can therefore imagine that she made sure to bring back her brother Pietro aka Vif-Argent. If the actor was only planned for a film, it has been whispered for years that this character will return. By introducing it into Doctor Strange 2, Marvel can make him a key player in the MCU. Given the imminent introduction of the X-Men into the franchise, that makes a lot more sense. In the same way, the project can present the return of Thanos! The Mad Titan could already make a comeback in the film The Eternals, but in a younger version. In the multiverse of madness, Strange could make up for his mistakes by traveling in the multiverse. Thus, he would do his best to meet Thanos in the hope of retaking the Time Stone so that he could properly protect the reality for which he is responsible.
The Elder is the character who best explained the multiverse to us. She serves as mentor to Stephen Strange, so she could come back in the form of flashbacks or via other realities to support the wizard in his decision-making. We do not yet know which characters will integrate the rest of Doctor Strange, but it would be in the interest of Marvel to present several cameos, in order to welcome more spectators in theaters! We can’t wait to embark straight into the multiverse of madness …
