In the provocative FSK Sex series, TELE 5 shows erotic films that set themselves apart from films such as “365 Days” or “50 Shades Of Gray”. We have the complete program for the fifth edition – and some special highlights!
Sex sells! The old sales wisdom still seems to apply today. After all, the FSK Sex film series on TELE 5 is already entering its fifth (!) Season this Saturday evening …
However, unlike in its successful series “SchleFaZ”, the station does not show any deliberately bad films on FSK Sex, which are best enjoyed with a certain ironic distance. On the contrary: TELE 5 presents a selection of sophisticated erotic films from all over the world at FSK Sex, not only catering to different sexual preferences and fetishes, but also illuminating diverse cultural perspectives.
The individual films are accompanied by conversations between the actress and director Saralisa Volm (her film “Hotel Desire” is also running this season) with the sexologist MA Jana Welch. Together they not only investigate how much our origins influence our view of sex – they also provide intimate anecdotes about the current film.
FSK Sex: The program of the 5th season
A total of eight erotic films will be shown on four consecutive Saturdays, each in a double pack. Not all of them are undisputed, but they all open up a picture of sex, gender and intimacy that is much more complex than you get in mainstream productions like “365 Days” or “Fifty Shades Of Gray”.

At FSK Sex finally uncut:
“Bedways” by RP Kahl
The plot: The young director Nina (Miriam Mayet) wants to make a film in which there are finally really authentic images to be seen. In an empty apartment, she meets with Hans (Matthias Faust), with whom she has already worked, as well as Marie (Lana Cooper), who is initially a little insecure, for trial work. Nina doesn’t know exactly what the film is about. But she definitely wants to show real sex …
That certain something: “Bedways” is a truly cross-border film with a radical aesthetic – and at the same time one of the most consistent and best thought out German films about sex and eroticism on the camera. But precisely because RP Kahl dares to do something here, you should definitely watch the TELE 5 version – because here the film is shown for the first time in the originally planned, more explicit version, while ZDF & ARTE have only seen a defused version so far.

Unusual tones from the scandal director No. 1:
“Love” by Gaspar Noé
The plot: Murphy (Karl Glusman) and Electra (Aomi Muyock) lead a relationship marked by excessive drug use and passionate sex between perfect love and pathological jealousy. When the couple invited their pretty neighbor Omi (Klara Kristin) one day to keep them company in bed, it didn’t take long for the emotions to boil up dangerously – because Murphy was increasingly liking the new playmate he was soon to begins even without meeting his girlfriend …
That certain something: Actually, scandal director Gaspar Noé (“Climax”) wanted to shoot his (3D) love film “Love”, enriched with pornographic scenes, much earlier – Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci had already agreed to play the leading roles. When reading the seven-page script, it got too hot for the two stars. Instead, the trio ended up shooting the controversial rape drama “Irreversible”, which is still controversial today.
More than ten years later, Gaspar Noé finally made his project a reality – with a new cast, in which he let the actors improvise largely freely in front of the camera. The result will certainly not delight everyone. But Gaspar Noé is and remains next to Lars von Trier Europe’s number one cinema provocateur – and “Love” has therefore become a pretty unique film again!

The king of European sexploitation:
“An Immoral Woman” by Tinto Brass
The plot: Paolo (Paolo Lanza) and Diana (Claudia Koll) have an open relationship – and are happy with it. Diana in particular indulges in a variety of sex adventures, which she then likes to tell her partner about. After all, that also adds momentum to their relationship. But the amorous adventure only goes well until Diana meets Alphonse (Franco Branciaroli). He has a very special predilection for her seductive butt – and Paolo doesn’t like that at all …
That certain something: Tinto Brass is notorious for such revealing cult classics as “Caligula” or “Salon Kitty”, which nobody really knows whether they are misunderstood masterpieces or the biggest trash. In any case, the Italian exploitation pope left his unmistakable stamp on European erotic cinema, and not just at his wedding in the seventies and eighties. “An immoral woman” landed in Germany – like so many of the director’s films – on the index before the film in 2019 finally received the blessing of the FSK. Accordingly, TELE 5 shows the film completely unabridged.
