Chungnam-do announced on the 7th that it will initiate a special crackdown with the coastal police against the behavior of beer businesses such as tourists using illegal tools from the 8th to the next month.

The crackdown includes beer traders who catch open fire using illegal tools called open fire pumps and parabongs, as well as the production, transport, display, and sale of illegal tools.

Recently, it can be seen that tourists in coastal areas such as Taean use illegal equipment to collect dogfire at random.

According to the enforcement regulations of the Fisheries Resource Management Act, a fine of up to 10 million won is imposed if a beer business owner captures and collects fishery resources using illegal tools that are not permitted.

Prior to the imposition of the fine, the crackdown team is planning to conduct public relations activities at the same time.

Kim Jong-seop, head of the Department of Fisheries Resources, said, “We will strictly crack down on the act of indiscriminately catching fire using illegal tools as it can cause great damage to local fishermen.”
