The clearing knife was developed as an attachment for the excavator especially for the simple removal of complete root stocks and will be available exclusively from the sales partners of DMS Technologie GmbH from January 1st, 2021.
With the knife made of special, high-strength wear steel, the attachment achieves a good mix of flexibility and durability. The elaborate production is mainly visible through the internal weld seam. This is crucial for the stability and more efficient operation of the knife when shredding the root stock. Maintenance is limited to regrinding the cutting blade, ideally with the specially developed grinding set. From the small root rat for excavators up to two tons to the large clearing knife for machines up to 30 tons, there are five sizes to choose from, which can be mounted on all common excavators using a quick-change adapter.
