DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Issues Circular, ASN Working Hours Only 5.5 Hours

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Saefullah instructed that the working time of state civil servants (ASN) who work in offices is limited to only 5.5 hours.

This instruction is contained in Circular Number 02 / SE / 2020 concerning the Work System of State Civil Servants in the Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta on the Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions during the Transition Period Towards a Healthy, Safe and Productive Society.

This SE is also a follow-up to Presidential Decree No.11 of 2020 concerning the Determination of the Public Health Emergency for Corona Virus Disease 2019 ( COVID-19) and Circular of the Head of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 Number 8 of 2020 concerning Regulations Working Hours during the Adaptation Period for New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Society for Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the Jabodetabek area.

Because they only work for 5.5 hours, the working time will be divided into two sif.

“Working time in the office is at least 5.5 hours a day in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Number 1 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Job Analysis and Workload Analysis,” said Saefullah in the SE, Thursday (3/9/2020) .

For setting the work schedule, Monday to Thursday starts at 07.00 to 12.30 WIB for shift 1.

Then enter at 10.30 to 16.00 WIB for shift 2.

“Then on Friday shift 1 comes in at 07.00 to 13.00 WIB. And shift 2 comes in 10.30 to 16.30 WIB,” he said.

In addition, all DKI Jakarta Provincial Government offices continue to implement a work system of 50 percent from home (work from home) and 50 percent from offices (work from office).

This division must be carried out by the head of the regional apparatus or work unit in the ASN in his environment.

“With the provision of working from home and working in an office by considering the number of State Civil Servants who carry out their duties in the office, at least 50 percent of the total number of employees,” he said.
