Paul Elstak is getting a divorce. The DJ announces via Instagram that his relationship with Kristel has stranded after fourteen years.
“Dear people, unfortunately I have sad news. Kristel and I are separating,” writes 57-year-old Elstak. “We’ve been in divorce proceedings for a few months now.”
Elstak and Kristel want to “make this process go smoothly” for the sake of their ten-year-old son Chase. “I’m not going to respond to this message for the rest, because I’m having a hard time with it. Thank you for your understanding.”
The hardcore DJ, known for hits like Rainbow in the Sky in Don’t Leave Me Alone, married Kristel in 2017. They had been a couple since 2009. The DJ has two daughters from a previous marriage: Savannah and Melanie.
