In Löffingen, around two dozen monkeys escaped from their enclosure in a zoo on Thursday. Employees initially tried unsuccessfully to recapture the animals. According to the police, the monkeys are considered harmless and fearful.

Löffingen – Around two dozen monkeys escaped from their enclosure in a zoo in Baden-Württemberg on Thursday. According to initial findings, the animals were apparently able to leave their enclosure in Löffingen in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district due to construction work, as the Freiburg police announced. The 20 to 25 animals were in packs. Employees initially tried unsuccessfully to recapture the animals.
