Two years after its initial launch as a Nintendo Switch exclusive,Disney Illusion Island is expanding its horizons. The two-dimensional platformer, reminiscent of the Rayman series, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC starting May 30.

What’s New?

Now officially titled Mickey & Friends: Disney Illusion Island, the game promises a colorful adventure featuring classic Disney characters with modern designs and Latin Spanish dubbing. Developed by Play Studios, known for their work on Battletoads and Overruled!, the game invites players to join mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy on a mission to the mysterious island of Monoth.

The objective is clear: recover three mystical books to prevent a catastrophe, all within a classic and multiplayer-pleasant platforming environment.

This move marks a meaningful step for Disney and Dlala Studios, bringing one of their moast recent titles to a wider audience.Despite a previous leak on the PSN, the official proclamation confirms that Disney Illusion Island will arrive with all its content on major platforms, opening doors to new players beyond the Switch ecosystem.
