Discovered several ways to treat severe coronavirus symptoms in Italians and Spanish | Granada radio

The coronavirus is so new that there is no specific treatment. However, the observation of hundreds of clinical histories of those infected by covid-19 in Italy and Spain, where the genetic configuration of its inhabitants has some specificities, has allowed the identification of several parameters, visible in blood tests, that indicate a possible predisposition of the patient to suffer the disease with greater severity. This pathway can specifically help treat infected young people.

Granada doctor specializing in autoimmune diseases José Luis Callejas, a doctor at the San Cecilio hospital in Granada, explained to his teaching group – through an internal video that has come to light – that several of these levels observable in an analysis, one of they, ferritin, may indicate that the patient is especially predisposed to suffer from the disease in a more serious way than other people whose analyzes do not show these altered levels.

Radio Granada has not been able to contact this doctor but has contacted several of his colleagues from the San Cecilio hospital. All the doctors consulted by the SER indicate that it is not a scientific investigation, since it has not given material time to it, but it does have clear results from the observation of thousands of analytics in Italy and Spain.

As a result of these observations by specialists, Granada hospitals have begun to treat coronavirus sufferers, for example, with corticosteroids when the disease reaches a non-initial phase.

Given the total lack of medical literature for the treatment of patients with coronavirus, observations such as the aforementioned have already led de facto – and for about 10 days – the opening of several doors to walk to treat at least the symptoms of the coronavirus in a more direct and effective. This is carried out by the Internal Medicine department of that hospital.

These works of the Italian and Spanish scientific community, mainly, point to the immunological response of the organism as a matter to study to try to understand the effect of the virus on the human body; to correct the symptoms of the disease; and even to explain why covid-19 is more deadly in Italy and Spain than in other parts of the world. This mortality could be related, according to these observations, to the genetic specificities of the Latin-Mediterranean population.

The response of our defenses determine the severity or not of the disease. These observations are already helping, not only to tackle symptoms such as severe lung inflammation, but they can also help prevent the severity of the condition with preventive treatments, even if it is a few hours in advance at the right time to minimize damage.
