Disappointed fans demand 5 million for missing actress in film

A standout lawsuit in the American film world: disappointed fans of Ana de Armas have filed a lawsuit because the actress was seen in a trailer of a movie, but not in the movie itself. They are demanding – on behalf of “all affected viewers” – at least $5 million in damages from film company Universal Pictures for raising false expectations.

Of movie Yesterday from 2019 revolves around the concept that The Beatles have been wiped from collective memory. But to their disappointment, some viewers discovered that Ana de Armas had also disappeared from the film, even though they had seen her in the trailer.

The Cuban Ana de Armas is known for her roles in Bond film No Time To Die and the crime comedy Knives Out. Two aggrieved Americans, Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza, say they paid almost four dollars to have her in the film. Yesterday only to find out that De Armas wasn’t in it at all.
