May 19, 2020 by world today news After the discovery of an illegal dirt bike route in the state forest around Höchberg, there were discussions between dirt bikers and the state forests. About the stand of things. – The extra heaped ramp for particularly spectacular jumps into the depths in the state forest near Höchberg has now been made unusable by members of the Würzburg Riders. Photo: Matthias Ernst A lot has happened since this editor’s report at the end of April on an illegal dirt bike route in the state forest near Höchberg. As Michael Grimm, deputy manager of the Bavarian State Forests in Arnstein, announced, there were initial discussions with the Würzburg Riders. The association is a community for mountain bikers and BMXers from Würzburg and the surrounding area. The aim of the talks is to be able to legally use a stretch, i.e. with the permission of the state forest and the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (AELF), which represent the property owner, the Bavarian state. After the article appeared, the Würzburg Riders approached the forest company to work out a solution for the future together. There has been contact with the forest company for a long time – because of a legal “dirtspot” in Oberdürrbach, which is currently under construction. Mountain bikers have dismantled several artificial embankments in the forest. Photo: Matthias Ernst – On your Facebook site the club members have published the following: “It is important that you contribute to the community, that we would like to create legal routes with everyone who wants to. Our cooperation club TSV Eibelstadt (Flowtrail Eibelstadt) is already on board next to Michi Veloprotz. Please make sure that no barrier tapes are torn off at the hotspots (climbing, quarry) and that no new construction work is carried out. (…) Please carry this into the broad Würzburg bike world. “ Community members dismantle ski jumps All sides emphasize that they are keen to create legal routes, the illegal ones are an eyesore. Such an illegal route was in the Höchberg quarry and a little next to it in the Zeller district. Both routes were officially closed by means of an alignment tape and signs, but this did not seem to bother some dirt bikers. They repeatedly tore down the barrier tapes and continued to use the route. Not anymore. The Bavarian state forest had filed a complaint with the police to identify the builders and users of the illegally built ski jumps – some of which had been artificially piled up to three meters high – and to have them pay for the damage caused. According to Grimm, these ads have since been withdrawn because the jumps have been dismantled by several members of the community. Among other things, it is also the specially built “Jumpline” that ended up falling a good ten meters into the slope. This was what the ramp looked like just a few weeks ago – and was still used despite being closed off. Photo: Matthias Ernst – Würzburg Riders ask for help Together, it will now be checked by the end of June whether a partial legal use including the jumps is possible. In the medium term, more spots are to be created that also appeal to the other user groups (trail and enduro bikers), announced the Würzburg Riders. Michael Grimm is happy to have met many insightful mountain bikers. He reports on understanding interviewees whenever he meets them in the forest and speaks to them. In addition to the flow trail in Eibelstadt and the dirtspot in Oberdürrbach, the route in Höchberg would be the third legal route through a forest. But until then, the Würzburg Riders ask for help on Facebook and Instagram: “If you would like to participate in the project, let us know – you will be immediately involved.” – Hoechberg Matthias Ernst Reports Facebook Forestry companies and forestry companies Agriculture Michael Grimm Oberduerrbach police States State forests TSV Eibelstadt Newspaper ads – – – Related posts:Mountain: Avalanche in Valais: death of the German hiker - News Switzerland: French-speaking Switzer...The debate about neutrality in the Ukraine war is damaging SwitzerlandThe MTA will charge you a $ 50 fine for not wearing a mask on public transportation | Univision 41 ...Two new medals for Var table tennis players at the Tokyo Paralympic GamesShare this:FacebookX Related AMLO disqualifies Morena’s proposal that Inegi review people’s assets Honor announces laptop and television – Computer – News Leave a Comment Cancel replyCommentName Email Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
