YouTuber Cycu1 did a great editing with comparing the graphics quality in DIRT 5. The game stayed in one window fired up on PS4 Pro and other on Xbox Series X.
As expected by skepticswho perfectly remember the situation with crossgen games from previous years, the visual differences between the release of the game on PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X are … slight. Xbox Series X offers, among others better lighting (mainly light reflections) and fog effects, but the differences are not immediately obvious.
This situation can be expected in most cross-gen productions. The biggest difference in favor of the PS5 and XSX will probably be in such cases much smoother framerate and lightning fast loading.
It’s also worth taking a look at the next gameplay from DIRT 5. It’s a career mode with dynamic weather, launched on PS4 Pro. We also have the first one at our disposal several minutes of PC gameplay.
